i almost thought this hotel would impress me, but it was a total disaster. the room was overly warm with air conditioning nonexistent, which was rather unfortunate. also, after being locked out of the garage, you’d think they'd offer a complimentary drink or upgrade as compensation, but no. shocking service at its finest, really.

We even bought a one-day bus and boat ticket for 20 euros, which let us explore the Grand Canal and Murano without breaking a sweat. The breakfast selection was pretty solid too – had everything we needed to start our day right.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but honestly, the experience was worth every penny.
